Your Skill Your Future

There are many youths in Kampala who have graduated from university but can’t find a job. How can young people develop creative skills to survive?

Youth Say wishes to promote the aspect of using one’s skill to make a great future. Cliff, Fred and Nicholas intend to air a collage of profiles on some youth that have made it with their skills.

The question of Public Etiquette

Pants Balancing, spitting, noise, dressing and taking a pee on the side of the road. These are but a few of the issues that diminish the idea of Public Etiquette. The youth happen to be the biggest offenders of this law that pushes for respect of others.

Pregnancy or HIV

Leah came up with a topic for discussion that was following research she had done. The conclusion to her research showed that women, girls fear Pregnancy more than HIV. to many the issue of either pregnancy or HIV seems like a no brainer but after talking to a bunch of ladies, one realizes how complicated the issue may be.

Trudy ON TOPIC

YouthSay found this topic interesting and worth sharing. In the works, Victoria and Trudy

carried a few interviews with the ladies to understand the whole enigma. To top it all off, on the YouthSay program, we shall have an expert councillor to discuss the issue in a more professional manner.

But I ask, isn’t it weird that we here of more pregnancies among the youth than HIV. Somebody is hiding something. THE ENIGMA

Does Hair Say It All?

Did  know that Africa spends more than $6 billion dollars on hair products and dry artificial hair every year? Most of this goes to the feminine gender. Hair is something capable of changing ones appearance and many girls and women use hair products and accessories to boost their physical appearance in an effort to look good or enhance beauty.

One may say that some take it too far. It is easier to judge people because of their appearance and – truth be told – hair can determine what people think of a person. “Does hair say it all?” is a drama about the problem of hair and appearance, and whether or not it matters

If I were President…

We live in a world of different people with different ideas that are always conflicting. ThisDSC00374 is why no single leader has ever had a full-on 100% support from those he or she serves. In Uganda, the youth are the determinants of presidential and parliamentary winners due to their overwhelming numbers. However, they do not seem to be satisfied with those they so willingly put in the seats of power.

DSC00341Joel Lubandi is on a mission to find out what the youth would do if – in some alternate reality – they were the President of the Republic of Uganda. Using vox-pops, we are yet to listen to some interesting people what they would do if they were president.
